I have been inspired to start this blog for myself and our friends and family, but mostly for my children.
I want to remember this time in my life and I want my children to know about the "me of now". I have been inspired to complete THE LIST because I feel that there is something special about writing the things you want to remember, to write what about yourself and to share yourself from your own perspective to your children, and for me, all of you readers. To be very honest, THE LIST is the reason I was inspired to start this blog. I started to write in a notebook, but my hand hurt from gripping the pen and lets be really honest, I am too much of a perfectionist to hand write anything important to me. I am only recently defeating the urges to rewrite my grocery lists for neatness and organization, items listed in aisle by aisle order. My children should definitely know that about me, at least so when they have the need to do similar things they will know where it comes from, haha.
Something that I do know is that my kids probably know more about me than anyone else. I spend 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with them. I am a stay at home mom and I provide daycare from my home, all so that I can be with them. Sure, I love my job, but the reason for it is to benefit my children, husband, our family relationships, and me. There is nothing in this world that I could ever do that would be more satisfying and rewarding than being a mother and it is all I have dreamed of since I was a little girl.
I will complete THE LIST and link the assignments as I complete them.
